1. Who we are

Alpha-Mike Inc., operating under the name Alpha Finance Tracker ("we", "us", "our"), operates the Alpha Finance Tracker application and website. We act as the data controller for personal data you provide when you use the Service.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, password (stored hashed), business name.
• Financial data you enter: transactions, categories, amounts, notes, and receipt images. By default this is stored locally on your device; Pro users may opt in to cloud backup.
• Support communications: messages you send us.
• Usage and device data: log data, IP address, device identifiers, browser type, and basic telemetry needed to run and secure the Service.

3. How we use your data and legal bases

• To create your account and provide the Service — performance of a contract.
• To back up your data to the cloud when you enable it — performance of a contract / consent.
• To secure the Service and prevent fraud or abuse — legitimate interests.
• To improve the product and fix bugs — legitimate interests.
• To provide customer support — performance of a contract / legitimate interests.
• To comply with legal obligations — legal obligation.

4. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with categories of recipients needed to run the Service:

• Service providers / subprocessors: hosting, database, storage, analytics, and support tooling.
• Paddle — our Merchant of Record — for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
• Professional advisers such as legal and accounting.
• Authorities where required by law.

5. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. EU/UK users have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. We aim to respond to requests within 30 days.

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and hashed credentials. No system is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
